Lockdown post 5

After spending an evening in Manchester city centre just after the Covid-19 lockdown had been relaxed, I had to experience the city in early morning. It didn't disappoint.

The streets had the occasional commuter and a few key workers walking to their place of work, but there was no one else around. To be able to walk freely and not worry about traffic was a weird situation. There were a few trams and buses working but they were pretty much empty. The scene felt like walking onto the set of an apocalyptic film. I love Manchester and to have the city centre to myself will hopefully be a rare treat that I won’t get to experience again
